Each of the ten teams will play each other home and away once.
HANDICAP SLEIGHT DOUBLES FORMAT
There are two groups and each team will play each other in their group once.
These fixtures are shown in the fixture schedule (Oct 10th, Oct 17th, Dec 5th, Jan 2nd, Jan 9th & the semi-finals Feb 27th) and it is expected that the matches will be played on the recognised home night of the home team.
Each team must play with three players. The scorecards showing the handicaps will be sent to the home team secretary in time for each fixture.
The semi-finals will be made up of the team with the most points in one group playing the team finishing second in the other group (a draw will determine home advantage). In the event of a tie on points, the victorious team in the fixture between the two teams in the group game will be deemed to take the higher position.
Group A: Squashed Wasps, Pegg Scaffolding, Walton Highway ’A’, Squashed Kestrels, Walton Highway ‘B’.
Group B: The Fossils, Welney, Aqua, Trojans, Eagles, Wanderers.
CHALLENGE CUP
This will remain a knock-out competition with the draw already being made.
Prelim A - The Fossils v Walton Highway ‘B’
Prelim B – Walton Highway ‘A’ v Welney
Prelim C – Aqua v Pegg Scaffolding
The preliminary round matches are to be arranged between team secretaries and played by October 28th. The first round matches are shown on the fixture schedule (Nov 7th) and once again it is expected that the matches will be played on the recognised home night of the home team. The semi-finals are scheduled for Jan 30th.
PARKER SHIELD HANDICAP CUP
This will remain a knock-out competition with the draw already being made;
Prelim A – The Fossils v Walton Highway ‘B’
Prelim B – Squashed Wasps v Walton Highway ‘A’
Prelim C – Pegg Scaffolding v Welney
The preliminary round matches are to be arranged between team secretaries and played by November 26th. As with the other competitions the first round matches are shown on the fixture schedule (Nov 28th) and again it is expected that the matches will be played on the recognised home night of the home team. The semi-finals are scheduled for Apr 16th.
